How Can I Calculate Our Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA)?

Answer:

Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) Calculation for result under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS),  for all UG & PG Programs w.e.f. Session 2015-16 except B. Arch., M. Arch., B.D.S., M.D.S. Examination may calculated as:

SGPA (Si) =∑(Ci x Gi) / ∑Ci , where Ci is Number of Credits of ith Course and Gi is Grade Point scored by students in ith Course.

How Can I Calculate Our Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)?

Answer:

The CGPA Calculation is applicable to result under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). This is calculated in final year result as:

CGPA = ∑ (Ci x Si) / ∑ Ci ,where Si is the SGPA of the ith Semester and Ci is the total number of Credits in that Semester.

Based on Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) the Division is awarded in Final Year Result as:

What are the passing marks in any theory subject?

Answer:

Minimum 30% Marks are required for any theory subject (Except B. Arch., M. Arch., B.D.S., M.D.S. Examination or programs under Regulatory Authority)

Question:

How can I get Grace Marks?

Answer:

In One Academic Year result maximum 10 Marks as a Grace can be availed. This is applicable to Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and Marks base System students.

The Maximum of 5 marks grace can be availed in any subject, but you have to maintain promotional criteria (60% subject or 60% Credit).

Note: The grace marks are applicable at the time when availing grace marks your result comes in Pass with Grace Category (All Papers pass).

How I will be Promoted to Next Academic Year?

Answer:

The result is prepared combining odd and even semester result.

If you are studding in Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), The minimum 60% Credit are required in Theory & Practical Subject separately.

If you are studding in Marks Based system. The minimum 60% Theory & Practical Subjects are needed to Pass/Promote to Next Higher Class, if any.

How I re-check my result that is Fail or Pass?

Answer:

The result is prepared combining odd and even semester result.

In Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), A student secured 100% credit, declared Pass. A candidate passes all subject availing grace marks, Declared Pass With Grace (PWG). A student secured at least 60% Credit in Theory & Practical Subject separately, shall Declared Promoted With Carry Over Papers and allowed to study in Next Higher class, if any. The student securing Less than 60% Credit (Either Theory or Practical or both) shall declared Fail.

In Marks Based system, A student pass in all subject, declared Pass. A candidate passes all subject availing grace marks, Declared Pass With Grace (PWG). A student at least pass in 60% Theory & Practical Subjects separately declared Passed with Carry Over Papers (PCP) and allowed to study in Next Higher class, if any. The student not pass 60% subject (Theory and Practical separately) shall declared Fail.

How Can I Get Ex ?Studentship or Re-Admission?

Answer:

Fill the Ex-student/Re-admission form and submit a copy in the office of Controller of Examination, Account and Respective Dean.
